Job Description
The Solutions Leader is accountable for defining and managing the execution of the Learning Solutions Value Stream solutions strategy. Reporting directly to the Global Value Stream Vice President, the Solutions Leader for EU / Americas collaborates with the Solutions Leader for APMEA to design and deliver the global Solutions Technology Roadmap, ensuring that our solutions are competitive, scalable, and aligned with current and future customer needs.
As an MSX ambassador, the Solutions Leader strengthens MSX’s positioning as a digital player in the automotive industry, leveraging data, AI and digital enablers to create differentiated offerings. The role operates in close partnership with Sales, Delivery, Technology (CTO) and Innovation teams to drive profitable growth across regions and brands.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
1. Strategy, Positioning and Roadmap
- Lead the definition, enhancement and ongoing refinement of the Value Stream USP, ensuring a clear, compelling and differentiated story in the market.
- Own the Solutions & Technology Roadmap in partnership with the Global Value Stream VP and CTO Business Partner.
- Design and maintain the Value Stream capabilities materials for internal and external audiences.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and best practices to identify key innovations and opportunities that can be integrated into the Value Stream solutions.
- Map and integrate AI into solutions to improve efficiency, innovation and profitability.
- Support the MSX Company Innovation Strategy by collaborating closely with the Innovation Team and CTO Team on strategic initiatives and proof‑of‑concept projects.
2. Regional Growth and Market Development
- Co‑shape and support EU and Americas growth strategy, ensuring alignment between Value Stream solutions and regional market needs.
- Provide strategic guidance and expertise in sales and delivery market meetings, ensuring local teams are aligned on the value proposition, roadmap and priorities.
- Represent the Value Stream at the Monthly VS Delivery Meeting, ensuring key delivery insights and performance data inform solution evolution.
3. Sales Partnership and Business Development
- Act as a pre‑sales partner, supporting the Value Stream VP and Global Sales team in defining the strategic selling strategy.
- Be a key contributor to client meetings and proposal support at both executive and operational level, positioning the Value Stream solutions.
- Define and maintain RFQ response frameworks and assets, ensuring consistent, high‑quality responses and reusable proposal materials.
- Oversee the Value Stream Knowledge Base, ensuring that solution content, case studies, best practices and tools are up-to-date, searchable and governed.
4. Solution Ownership and Innovation
- Ensure the definition, development and maintenance of solution parameters, including pricing, configuration, delivery model and performance standards.
- Define the annual plan for solution launches, enhancements and maintenance, aligned with market opportunities and technology roadmap.
- Provide solution ownership and partner management for key solution lines, in alignment with other Solutions Leaders and internal stakeholders.
5. Marketing, Communication and Enablement
- Define, together with Marketing & Communication, the annual Marketing and Communications Plan for the Value Stream, aligned with the company priorities.
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of sales materials to support effective go‑to‑market execution.
- Define and deploy Solutions Training for Delivery and Sales, ensuring teams understand the solution portfolio, value proposition and key use cases.
6. Governance, Compliance and Ways of Working
- Ensure the Solutions team’s compliance with all applicable MSX policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Foster strong collaboration across functions (Sales, Delivery, Technology, Innovation, Marketing) and across regions, enabling consistent and scalable solution rollout.
Qualifications
Ideal Education / Specific Qualifications / Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Certification in Learning and Development (L&D) is preferred.
- Lean or Agile certification is appreciated.
Experience:
- Strong experience in Learning and Development (L&D) and learning technologies.
- Proven experience leading people through change (formally or in a matrix).
- Experience building and managing business networks and strategic partnerships.
- Experience in automotive, mobility or learning solutions.
Knowledge:
- Excellent understanding of current and emerging trends, technologies and market forces affecting the L&D and automotive sectors.
- Knowledge of Lean principles and Agile ways of working.
- Strong understanding of how organizations and global matrix structures work.
Technical Skills:
- Anticipating future trends: Ability to anticipate future consequences and trends accurately and translate them into a clear, actionable roadmap.
- Technologically Savvy: Familiarity with innovative learning technologies and experience using AI to enhance learning solutions.
- Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks related to solution design, rollout and commercial performance, and propose mitigation actions.
- Solution & Contract Awareness: Ability to understand the commercial framework of solutions, aligning design and delivery to protect MSX’s interests.
