The purpose of this role is to support and escalate regarding insurance claims into our client’s specific department in order to assure cost recovery.
Tasks contain:
- Gathering information from workshop and client;
- Assessing insurance claims submitted to policyholders;
- Verifying the accuracy of claim details, including personal information, policy coverage and claim amounts;
- Managing invoices received from authorized repair partners;
- Ensuring invoices are accurate and approve payments to the claims system;
- Investigating the circumstances of the claim, such as accidents, damages or medical reports;
- Gathering evidence and identifying any potential misrepresentation;
- Dialogue with the insurance company;
- Informing and negotiating with workshops;
- Processing policy applications to workshops;
- Documenting all decisions and transactions;
- Staying updated on industry regulations, company policies and best practice.
Qualifications
We would love to welcome a new colleague with excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills and a good understanding of the repair process. Our ideal candidate has:
- At least 3 years of experience in the insurance sector;
- Previous automotive insurance experience and/or workshop insurance admin/repair cases experience;
- Understanding of the technical repair on high level;
- A good understanding of insurance principles and settlements, MOD, MTPL,
and Insurance Claim Flow; - Experience in handling motor claims, insurance escalations and corner cases;
- Commercial judgement required to process technical/complex insurance claims;
- Experience in dealing with liability negotiations;
- Experience in helping resolve disputes between customers and insurance company;
- Critical thinking;
- Confidence in handling potential uncertainty;
- Results orientation;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, think and plan ahead and build in contingencies;
- Ability to understand complex information and assess requirements;
- High level of computer literacy, especially MS Office;
- Language skills: German and English
