Location: Colchester, UK
Salary: Competitive, based on experience (up to £27 000)
Job Type: Full-time / Job Share

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment efforts, with a focus on internal mobility, ensuring employees have access to career progression opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and promotion of apprenticeship programmes to cultivate future green talent withing the organisation.
  • Maintain employee records in our HRIS People Central, ensuring legal compliance i.e. with GDPR, industry-specific regulations and accreditation.
  • Work on green talent initiatives, helping to attract and develop new talent into the organisation.
  • Utilise AI-driven HR tools for day to day delivery and process improvement throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Support payroll processing, benefits administration, and any other required areas of support.
  • Provide day to day support/guidance to the operations management as required on the policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to enhance operational efficiency through digital and AI-powered process improvements.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Maintain market specific reports on HR metrics, absenteeism, and staff retention to support business decision-making as requested by the UK HR Manager.
  • Any other adhoc duties as by the UK HR Management.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in HR or administration within a BPO or automotive-related company is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage high-volume administration.
  • Understanding of AI applications in HR and an interest in leveraging technology to enhance HR efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in employee engagement.
  • Proficiency in HR software, and AI-driven HR solutions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information professionally.
  • A proactive, solutions-driven approach to workforce sustainability and innovation.
