Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Credit & AR, the Master Data Representative will be responsible for working closely with various MSC internal divisions to verify master data integrity and manage the updates of that information accurately and effectively within specified time frames.  They are also responsible for account creation and maintenance, as well as Intercompany account reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Creation of customer and vendor accounts in SAP
  • Validating and approving customers for invoicing in OVP
  • SAP account consolidation
  • Ensuring master data integrity in key systems
  • Maintain processes to support data quality
  • Ensuring data accuracy and overseeing data governance policies
  • Develop and implement data management strategies
  • Perform data analysis and present results in a meaningful manner
  • Investigate and resolve invoice rejections within SAP
  • Maintain departmental errors dashboard / liaise with other departments for approvals
  • Follow up with various MSC agencies for account reconciliation

Qualifications

  • Reporting and analytical skills are required
  • Excellent problem-solving, goal-oriented, and good judgement abilities
  • Resilient, proactive, and professional attitude with a passion to succeed and learn
  • Ability to successfully develop and maintain positive relations with departments
  • Bilingual (French and English) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft software Office skills (Excel, Power Bi, Word, PowerPoint) 
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • 5+ years of experience preferred (or relevant experience in another role)
  • Shipping experience is an asset
