We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Production Assistant/Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Production you will be responsible for offering support to the production team with bidding, scheduling and managing projects within the TVC pipeline. Working closely with producers you will oversee the management of projects from the bidding phase all the way through the final reconciliations. You will be part of MPC’s client facing team and in conjunction with the producers you will liaise with the agency, director and MPC's artists. You will have strong communication skills, the ability to work independently yet within a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working with Producers managing budgets and schedules that take into account
  • VFX work required and ensuring each project is completed on budget, schedule and to the highest creative standard
  • Liaise with clients regarding schedule, budget, and creative
  • Managing project milestones, deliveries and implementing vfx schedule
  • Liaising with MPC artists and support staff
  • Reaching out to Freelance community and managing holds for Artists. Maintaining relationships with key freelancers and developing new relationships with Artists who haven’t worked at MPC previously. Keeping database up to date.
  • Providing verbal and written progress reports to clients, line producers and internal teams every week
  • Helping producers generate schedules, collating client notes/feedback, organizing shoot attends and any other support as required
  • Learning and development of an extensive knowledge of the post workflow, industry trends and new technologies

Qualifications

Experience:

  • A general understanding of 3D animation, 2D, design and the post-production process, or previous experience at MPC
  • Strong problem solving skills are required
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office package
  • Extensive knowledge of ceta is desired
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Knowledge of F-track helpful
