Job Description

The Role:

MPC’s Oscar winning Film division is looking for a superb PR Coordinator with contacts in offline and online film and entertainment media and their finger on the pulse when it comes to digital and social media experience. The role will work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to devise and deliver press strategies to promote MPC’s work on major feature films and help build public and industry awareness of MPC Film.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and implement PR strategies to promote MPC’s work on major movies
  • Produce press releases, statements and articles for a variety of online and offline publications on the talent and technology behind the images
  • Assist with creating marketing and PR assets to promote films, to include showreels, images and filmed interviews
  • Nurture and retain excellent relationships with global On and Offline mainstream and trade press
  • Update business stakeholders on results of PR campaigns using analytics tools to create quarterly PR reports
  • Create digital content and manage MPC Film’s digital channels and Social networks
  • Assist in creating submissions for awards including Oscars, BAFTA, VES, Annie
  • Assist at trade events and screenings
  • Identify strategic opportunities to raise the profile of the business
  • Work closely with company spokespeople to ensure all press interviews and event presentations are on brand


  • A good understanding of PR and communications in Film, Broadcast or Tech
  • Black book of influential film and entertainment journalists and tastemakers
  • An understanding of issues and trends in the media industry
  • Strong written and presentation skills
  • Innovative and forward thinking, keeping up with the latest in digital trends and social platforms
  • Self-starter with a good sense of prioritization and hands on approach, able to deliver to tight deadlines.
