Job Description

As part of our dynamic Music & Live Events Partnerships team, you will service and implement contract fulfillment for our global partners affiliated with the Live Nation business and increasing the overall level of activation.

  • Manage various partnerships with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in the management with signature partnerships.
  • Respond to daily service inquiries from partners.
  • Develop strong understanding of partner objectives.
  • Develop strong understanding of Live Nation business landscape, and objectives and successfully align partner deliverables.
  • Create and implement innovative, integrated promotional concepts that increase partner activation and deliver against partner objectives.
  • Ensure all MLSE/Live Nation contractual obligations are being satisfied.
  • Develop and manage individual partner budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with all other departments to fulfill responsibilities, communicate and collaborate.
  • Manage special events as the need arises (in-arena, in-market, hosting); oversee all elements of concert/event activities and executions as it relates to partners.
  • Develop and present detailed year-end reports (including affidavit and full audit).
  • Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as requested.
  • Work closely with Live Nation owned and operated venues, festival teams and promoter partners across Canada.
  • Organize and distribute concert/event tickets to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma; preferably in a Business-related discipline
  • 2+ years experience in corporate sales or service, promotional marketing or event marketing
  • Sponsorship experience (agency, client, or property side) is an asset
  • Entertainment industry expertise an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable making presentations and public speaking
  • Understanding of general marketing principles and a mentality for service; knowledge of mass media values
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • Demonstrated ability to build and develop professional relationships
  • Creative self-starter, driven by results and alert to change
  • Ability to see the big picture and strategize accordingly
  • Both a team builder and team player who can relate professionally to all levels
  • Performs well under pressure; lead multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Confident user of MS Office 2000 and XP, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with current social media tools including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat
  • Available to work evenings and weekends as required
  • A positive, winning approach, incorporating integrity, confidentially and discretion
  • Domestic travel may be required on occasion.
