Job Description
As part of the MLSE Venue and Capital Programs team, you will lend day-to-day support to the Venue & Ice Operations team. We are collectively responsible for the program design of our business systems. This includes our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) at Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment (MLSE).
Reporting to the Director, Venue & Asset Planning, the Maintenance Management System Design Intern will have the unique opportunity to contribute to projects related to the design, development, and re-implementation of CMMS under the 24/7 software. This role is essential for building the structure for Assets, Locations, and Task Categories in the system, creating the base for our Preventative Maintenance Plan in the software.
MLSE’s Internship term dates are from September 9th 2024 - December 20th 2024
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to define the scope and objectives of the CMMS project.
- Gather, clean, and standardize data related to assets, locations, and task categories.
- Assist in the configuration and setup of the CMMS, aligning with MLSE Venue Operations & Ice Operations Team requirements.
- Participate in training sessions and support the training of staff on the new system.
- Monitor the CMMS post-implementation, conducting audits, and suggesting improvements.
- Continuously explore and suggest enhancements to the CMMS, leveraging its full capabilities.
- Design and develop high-quality business materials (manuals, presentations, and job aids) for a wide variety of stakeholders who require specialized documentation.
- Create and maintain standardized templates, operating procedures, maps/drawings, and related processes in the operations of the CMMS
- Support the Venues & Capital Programs Leadership team with a range of tasks, as required.
Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in a university or college in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Engineering, IT).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of or interest in learning about CMMS software and maintenance management.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, multi-task, and meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud required.
