Job Description

  • Administration of Microsoft 365 and Azure Platforms.
  • Administration of Microsoft Exchange and related mail technologies.
  • Research, design, planning, implementation, maintenance and support of existing services, and works with operations team to research, plan, design, implement and support of existing and emerging Microsoft 365 and Azure AD best practices.
  • Performs setup, configuration and ongoing management of Active Directory monitoring, OU maintenance, domain controllers and PKI infrastructure
  • Performs setup, configuration and ongoing monitoring of the Microsoft 365 environment (i.e. email monitoring, configuration of security settings and event logs
  • Performs ongoing system maintenance of servers including general server cleanup, system monitoring and patching.
  • Track projects and system incidents through to resolution via Service Now
  • Develops and maintains system-related documentation to facilitate implementation and/or adoption of system changes
  • Participate in monthly schedule to act as after hours escalation point for service related incidents.

Qualifications

  • 5 years progressive Infrastructure and online admin (Microsoft 365) experience.
  • Expert knowledge of PowerShell and Microsoft Exchange Online.
  • Senior Microsoft Microsoft  365, design, build, and administration experience.
  • Experience working with mid to large-size Windows Server environments including daily operations and maintenance as well as project-based work such as migrations, upgrades etc.
  • Proficient with Windows Server, Active Directory and WSUS.
  • Experience automating Microsoft Windows or Azure workloads and/or processes.
  • Good verbal, written, and presentation skills (English).
  • Ability to think outside the box and beyond the current solution to identify new and improved solutions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to mentor other team members through knowledge-transfer.
  • Technical writing including documentation of procedures.
  • Experience with Linux server administration.
  • Experience using Windows Server and Active Directory technologies in AWS environments.
  • Experience using automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, etc
