Job Description

As part of the MLSE Foundation team, you will be contributing to our fund-raising goals that support MLSE LaunchPad and other charitable and community organizations with programs that support children and youth through sports and recreation and programs. 

  • Reporting to the 50|50 Program Supervisor for direction and supervision, you will be responsible for selling 50|50 tickets to fans, throughout the Scotiabank Arena, BMO Field and other venues as required during events for our MLSE teams as well as other events at our venues.  
  • Selling tickets at all venues including Scotiabank Arena, BMO Field and other venues as required for all of our teams  that include Raptors, Raptors 905, Leafs, TFC, Marlies and Argos.
  • Some regular physical labor is required (e.g. climbing stairs, walking around the stadium, standing for sustained periods, using a loud voice) 
  • Interaction with fans demonstrating a positive energy,  providing quick service and informed responses to inquiries. 
  • Educate fans on the details of the 50|50 Online and In-arena Program.
  • Communicating MLSE Foundation messaging.
  • Trouble-shooting the POS equipment as required . 

Qualifications

  • Comfortable approaching people and selling in large crowds. 
  • Have strong verbal communication and customer service skills. 
  • Have strong organizational skills.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Have flexible availability and can work at all MLSE venues, for home games year-round, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.  
  • Previous selling experience in a charitable fundraising setting.
