Job Description

As a Technical Business Analyst in MLSE Digital Labs, you will be a key contributor to the development and enhancement of technical solutions that elevate the fan experience and drive the business. While not a hands-on administrator or developer, your expertise in understanding and translating business needs into technical requirements will be crucial for the success of our technology initiatives. Proficiency in Salesforce, Informatica, AWS, and Atlassian technologies from a business analysis perspective is essential for this role. You will also be instrumental in supporting and enabling Project Managers to manage project delivery in a timely manner.

Position: 1-year Corporate Contractor 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for digital projects.
  • Leverage Atlassian technologies, particularly Jira and Confluence, as the primary tools for capturing and managing requirements and documentation.
  • Translate business needs into comprehensive technical specifications and user stories, focusing on functionality and business outcomes.
  •  Develop and oversee test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the delivered solutions meet the specified business requirements.
  •  Work closely with Project Managers to support the overall delivery of digital projects.
  •  Enable Project Managers by providing them with the necessary insights and documentation to manage project timelines effectively.
  • Collaborate with developers and admins to Assess the feasibility of technology solutions and provide recommendations based on business needs.
  • Partner with technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions align with business goals.
  •  Focus on understanding and leveraging AWS Data Services to support data integration, transformation, and storage for digital projects.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure effective utilization of AWS Data Services.
  • Understand and articulate the capabilities and limitations of Salesforce in the context of business requirements.
  • Work with technical teams to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, etc.).
  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst with a focus on technology projects.
  • Strong proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and user story creation.
  • Experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and execution.
  • Demonstrated success in project delivery support and coordination.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Informatica, AWS, and Atlassian technologies from a business analysis perspective.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
