Job Description

As part of the MLSE marketing team, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the Strategy + Insight team’s goal of building and scaling MLSE’s marketing strategy and effectiveness. You will be able to gain first-hand experience in harnessing data and turning it into creative strategy that transforms business realities and cultural trends into integrated marketing campaigns and / or fan experiences. 

MLSE’s Internship term dates are from May 8th, 2023 - September 1st, 2023

Responsibilities: 

  • Collect & analyze 1st and 3rd party data and research (proprietary and internal marketing performance data like social or influencer content, external market studies, consumer behaviour trends, competitive audits and category outlooks) 
  • Assemble and author in-depth reports & contribute to the creation of strategic plans and presentations 
  • Contribute to and recommend innovative ideas and concrete solutions for audience and social impact growth 
  • Summarize data, insights, and strategies to support the creative marketing process 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with a focus in Business / Commerce, Marketing, Strategy, Data Analytics, or related discipline 
  • An analytical mindset with a passion in qualitative and quantitative analysis 
  • Ability to think critically while leveraging curiosity and creativity 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high degree of attention to detail 
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines 
  • Team first, positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
  • You are fully vaccinated against Covid-19
