Job Description

Position Overview:  

Toronto FC is searching for a professional, energetic, and passionate individual to support our Team Operations department in the role of Intern, Team Operations. Reporting to the Manager, Team Operations, this position will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the day-to-day operations and administration of Toronto FC’s MLS & MLS Next Pro teams. 

MLSE’s Internship term dates are from January 9th, 2023 - April 28th, 2023 


Responsibilities:   

  • Provide a wide range of confidential, administrative support as it relates to the administration and operations Toronto FC’s professional teams and its contributing departments 
  • Serve as the visiting team liaison for MLS Next Pro home matches throughout the internship term 
  • Assist with various First Team game-day logistics as requested  
  • Provide support with several player administration matters, including but not limited to player onboarding, transportation, appointments, benefits, expenses, research, welcome materials, etc. 
  • Support the Team Operations department with team-related invoicing and expense reporting 
  • Assist with the upkeep of team and player information across various internal databases  
  • Provide support with internal projects and research as required 
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times, maintain confidentiality and take pride in the organization, it’s people and the role 

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a related University or College degree/diploma Program 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines 
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including evening and weekends. 
  • You are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
