Job Description

The Ticketing Sales & Membership Strategy team is responsible for supporting the annual revenue plan and developing an engaging and rewarding culture for our 120+ staff. We are focused on uncovering opportunities to enhance the experience of our staff, improve internal processes, and ultimately drive incremental revenue. Specific team responsibilities can be categorized into 3 areas: (1) Department Strategy & Communications (2) Internal Consulting and Special Projects and (3) Business Operations and Project Management 

The Role: 

Reporting to the Ticketing Sales & Service Project Manager, the Ticketing Sales and Membership Strategy (MBA) Intern will have the unique opportunity to work side by side with our Sales, Membership, Suites and Premium LIVE teams, to support the Strategy Team to scope new technology, improve and maintain operational processes, launch important projects, and support our revenue generating initiatives.  

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with a visionary and entrepreneurial spirit, and experience analyzing data to find opportunities / present recommendations to senior leadership. 

MLSE’s Internship term dates are from January 9th, 2023 - April 28th, 2023

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Consultant (50%) 
  • Support internal reporting and ticketing campaign strategy 
  • Administer the ticketing onboarding program and support updates to onboarding content 
  • Handle internal strategy meetings and internal focus groups to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement 
  • Support operations of the secondary strategy team as required 
  • Project Management - Projects & Initiatives (50%) 
  • Manage projects of small scale with short to mid-term implementation time 
  • Complete deliverables to support project implementation 

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an MBA 
  • University or College Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Economics, Strategy or Finance 
  • 2-3 years of experience in Consulting, Finance, Strategic Planning or Corporate Development preferred 
  • Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Project and Visio for documentation, presentation, and project management and analysis purposes 
  • Advanced to high level skills in MS Excel 
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills including the ability to actively listen, empathize, ask questions, and respond in language that our partners understand in a virtual or in person setting 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and define problems and develop creative solutions to address requirements clearly and articulately 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit in identifying opportunities for improving business efficiencies 
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  •  You are fully vaccinated against Covid-19
