Job Description

Team Overview:

The Brand & Commercial Strategy team is within the Marketing Department at MLSE and accountable for accelerating team brand growth, commercialization, and amplification of social impact through new audience, platform, and growth model development.

The Role:

Reporting to the Marketing Brand Manager, the Brand Intern will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the Brand Marketing team’s planning and execution of key brand moments across all brand portfolios. You will be able to gain first-hand experience in developing and completing various brand campaigns on both the local and national level.

MLSE’s Internship term dates are from January 9th, 2023 - April 28th 2023

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with coordinating and carrying out various promotions, campaigns, and events
  • Provide communication support with external stakeholders including agencies, partners, and suppliers
  • Assist with drafting internal and external correspondences including meeting notes and CRM messages
  • Contribute to and recommend innovative ideas and concrete solutions for upcoming brand programs
  • Perform other administrative or service functions as required

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with a focus in Business / Commerce, Marketing, Strategy, or related discipline 
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to think critically while leveraging curiosity and creativity 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a high degree of attention to detail  
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines 
  • Team first, positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude
  • You are fully vaccinated against Covid-19
