Job Description

Conveniently located beside Scotiabank Arena in the heart of Toronto’s Sports and Entertainment district, RS caters to sports fans as much as music and entertainment fans. With a new, modern design featuring premium styles and materials, an upscale menu offering hand-selected, local and seasonal ingredients and a new atmosphere, RS is a unique take on the traditional sports bar.  

Reporting to the Manager, you will help solidify MLSE’s presence as a driving force in the entertainment industry by being responsible for the atmosphere that elevates guests' experiences at RS in Maple Leaf Square. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Control audio and video during live sporting events on our world-renowned Big-Screen and across 100 displays, 4 projectors and 9 audio zones.
  • Ensure all live entertainment and event’s audio-visual equipment is operational and provides the best experience for guests and clients.
  • Support Catering, Live Events, and Marketing events and ensure all audio-visual demands are met, and exceeded when possible.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of the venue including but not limited to, electronic systems, lighting systems and furniture.
  • Assist with the updating of the RS website for the Bigscreen Schedule, Live Music, Events and develop documents to be sent to multiple MLSE establishments.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment, wireless technology, computers, and LCD projectors
  • Ability to excel in a very fast-paced and corporate work environment that heavily relies on problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong ability to learn, adapt and independently troubleshoot new technologies
  • An extremely flexible schedule, including work on weekends and holidays
