Job Description

Team Overview: 

The Game Operations Team support MLSE’s Game Time Product. This product is a digital second screen experience within the official teams’ apps. It was created to elevate the experience of our fans watching at home with interactive games, chat, trivia, video, prizing and more. 

The Role: 

Reporting to the Product Lead, the Game Operations (Digital Labs) Intern will have the unique opportunity to utilize their passion in technology and sports to continuously improve the fan experience at MLSE. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, coordinating with teams, and assets to support game operations to ultimately deliver the best fan experience on game nights. 

MLSE’s Internship term dates are from May 9th, 2022 – September 2nd, 2022

Responsibilities: 

  • Gather sponsorship and prizing information for each Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors game and coordinate with Game Presentation teams to incorporate into the run of show 
  • Help coordinate various cross-functional teams involved in the setup and run of show for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors Digital Arenas 
  • Update Game Time assets and content for each game 
  • Assist in the pre-game QA checklist for the Digital Arenas 
  • Assist with generating post-game metrics for our Digital Arenas 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with a focus in Technology, Product Management, Project Management, Marketing, or related field 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word 
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines 
  • Available to work some evenings to accommodate game nights
