Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a talented Unity developer to join our Digital Labs team. As part of our team, you’ll get to help the team explore new augmented reality, virtual reality, and mixed reality technology and their capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Be a key part of building new XR reality experiences
  • Quickly create and iterate on prototypes showcasing new designs and interaction patterns
  • Experience integrating third party (web) APIs and first party services as data/state sources.
  • Transforming design ideas into functional games.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Establish an effective strategy and development pipeline
  • Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications and games
  • Researching unknowns and identifying, mitigating and/or resolving blockers.

Qualifications

Your player stats. You have:

  • The experience. You have a blend of strong scripting skills with a keen eye for detail such that you can both reliably implement core features and responsibly/accountably implement the work of artists. 4+ years professional experience in Unity development.
  • The technical skills. You have experience working with Unity and Unity3D software, excellent coding skills. Fluent in C# and/or 3 years working in C#. Experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and user session management.
  • The interpersonal skills. You have excellent communication skills and can work together with a cross-functional team to reach your goals; our space is very collaborative and you will be working with a number of people across multiple departments.
  • The motivation. You are a self-starter, able to take the initiative on projects and get to work meeting goals on time. You are not afraid to take on new challenges and have the drive to see things through to the end.
