Job Description

Our Game Presentation Teams for the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors are looking for a Digital Arena Producer.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, execute, and oversee the digital arena fan experience of Game Time during home and away games through the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors apps
  • Oversee, ideate and develop game scripts for each game with current trends, stats, trivia and relevant information while understanding the flow and aligning with the broadcast timing
  • Manage digital game production including managing PT Production Team
  • Strategize, manage and track user giveaways during game play
  • Facilitate arrangement of special guests joining use chats
  • Communicate all digital experience game night requirements, including studio assets, and partnership requirements
  • Work closely with all corresponding departments (Brand, GP, Digital Labs, Studio) to create a plan for each team and regularly analyze and update that plan to ensure proper execution and similarity across all teams
  • Ensure all team campaigns are tracked properly and fully optimized in correspondence with Digital Labs
  • Monitor campaign performance and report back results (ex. when the Digital Arena is heavily trafficked and how we optimize and utilize that time with bigger game presentation strategy)
  • Synthesize performance learnings to influence wider media strategy; present recommendations, evaluations, POVs and media analyses to relevant internal and external stakeholders (ex. prizing from partners based on time of game most heavily trafficked)
  • Develop and implement best practices across creative planning, strategy, programmatic implementation, content, and all other relevant parties
  • Maintain a relationship with Tradable Bits and Digital Labs to continue to improve and maximize potential within the platform, cultivating new ideas to improve both producer and user experience 
  • Continue to research and create new and groundbreaking ideas to improve the game experience for all fans joining Game Time through the team apps
  • Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Sports Management, Content Management, Marketing or Event Planning.
  • Experience of Content Management Systems
  • A CREATIVE thinker who can generate and execute new concepts and ideas
  • Must have a high level of Basketball and Hockey knowledge
  • Must be informed on the current Raptors and Leafs teams and its history
  • Confident user of XP, Word, Excel and simple graphical design is a plus.
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented
  • Proven to perform well under pressure; manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Available to work all game nights including weekends and holidays as required
  • A positive, winning approach, incorporating integrity, confidentiality and discretion
