Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Account Manager to become an integral part of the Membership Engagement & Commercialization team.

In this role, you will support and lead the development of large scale, strategic commercial engagement initiatives, that help us evolve the future of our Season Seat Member programs across multiple verticals including Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC, Marlies, Argos, Raptors 905 and Premium LIVE.

Your strategic approach, with the ability to “connect the dots” from observations to opportunities will contribute to a team that is looking to build innovative solutions and deliver outstanding experiences to support our Membership service and retention strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Development and execution of the Membership engagement strategy, creating new and exciting ways to deliver value that brings Members closer to their favorite teams to support retention strategies
  • Apply innovative and creative approaches to identify and deliver new commercial engagement products, services and program initiatives to improve revenue opportunities across the business
  • Produce compelling content and storytelling assets that build emotional connections that drive member loyalty
  • Collaborate with content creators and product managers to identify opportunities for future engagement initiatives
  • Maintain current understanding of industry trends around customer experience to find opportunities to re-imagine our Membership benefits model
  • Function as strategic project leader and builder for all engagement & commercialization initiatives including the development of project schedules, define the critical path, and track progress activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed upon deadlines
  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring projects stay on schedule and to budget, by utilizing strong communication, collaboration and leadership skills
  • Build visual storytelling presentation materials for all levels of the organization, including our senior leadership team, effectively communicating sophisticated concepts into consumable strategic plans
  • Build project briefs and collaborate with internal creative teams and external agencies on new engagement initiatives that include relevant brand guidelines, project schedules, budget and work scope
  • Responsible for financial planning, budget tracking, invoice management for team and department initiatives

Qualifications

  • 3-5 year direct-to-consumer program/CPG experience
  • 3-5 -year experience in developing strategic marketing engagement strategies
  • Experienced user of Microsoft 360 - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Photoshop
  • Financial planning and budget tracking experience
  • A stickler for detail who always pays attention to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Excellent judgment and self-directed work style
  • Strong presentation, storyboarding and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Internally motivated and an inventive problem solver - knows how to find answers to provide the best solution
  • Demonstrated dedication to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
  • Strong work ethic with a drive for self-development, collaboration and take-action mentality
  • Agency experience working on consumer brands is an asset
  • Sports & Entertainment industry experiences asset
  • Knowledge of Sports, Entertainment and Lifestyle industry trends asset
