Job Description
The Tax Manager is a tax professional that works on the company’s federal and state compliance for domestic and foreign subsidiaries in an exciting, dynamic and fast-paced industry.
- Prepare and review U.S. Tax Filings for foreign subsidiaries, including Forms 5471, 8865, 8858, 926.
- Prepare the Company’s Foreign Tax Credit Calculation, including Form 1118.
- Review and assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns.
- Review and assist in the preparation of quarterly tax provision computations.
- Review and assist in the preparation of estimated tax payment computations.
- Assist with tax planning and other tax department projects.
- Performs other job related duties as requested.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors of Science in Accounting or Business/Finance with an emphasis in accounting.
- At least 5 years of public accounting or corporate tax department experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience preparing and/or reviewing Forms 1118, 5471, 8865, 8858 and 926.
- Demonstrated work paper documentation skills.
- Excellent technical writing and editing skills, as well as strong verbal communication skills.
- Experience with process improvement, proactively streamlining procedures and reporting.
- Strong technical knowledge related to the preparation and review of US federal and state income tax returns.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Strong tax research skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.

- Proficiency with Excel, Word and tax preparation software.
- Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Preferred:
- International Tax background.
- Proficient with CorpTax.
- Experience using Cognos Finance.
- Hospitality/Gaming experience.
- CPA certification.
- Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
