- INR checks
- Administer wound care and wound vac placement
- Provide disease process education
- Practice safe delivery of physician ordered care to patients in a home environment
- Perform patient assessments
- Provide feeding tube management and education
- Administer and manage medication
- Provide central line management, lab draws, and education
- Perform accurate and concise documentation
Job Description
You will:
- Treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments and therapies
- Documents all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses and coordination of care
- Educates the patient and family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies, and in meeting the patient's nursing needs.
Qualifications
- What we are looking for:
- PICC/Central line experience highly preferred
- An active Arizona (or compact state) registered nurse license in good standing
- CPR for healthcare providers
- The ability to provide direct patient care
