We are currently looking for a Design Engineer outside of the Memphis, TN area.

The position is a first shift position Monday through Friday.

This position requires a team player in a fast paced environment. They will be responsible for the conversion of 2D to 3D in a large manufacturing facility.

Minimum Requirements

·         Proficient in the use of SolidWorks software to create 3D models of assemblies, parts, drawings and bills of material.

·         Works well in team environment. Ability to take recommendations from the production floor and implement into design changes as required.

·         Schedule and facilitate design reviews at critical milestones in the design process.

·         Experienced in DFA and DFM methodologies.

·         Executes designs in a timely manner with emphasis on keeping work flowing to the production floor. (KISS principle)

·         Functions well in a fast pace high stress environment.

·         Managed team of engineers in past

·         Great leadership skills

·         Great communication skills
