Job Description

You will be responsible in planning and conducting research and development on new products and product improvement to lower production costs and maintain products of the highest quality that meet the customers’ standards and requirements while complying with HACCP, GMP and  ISO requirements. Here is your job scope in detail: 

1    To oversee and/or conduct research on New Product Development and Product Improvement to lower production costs and maintain products of the highest quality that meet customers’ standards and requirements.

2    To ensure incoming raw materials and outgoing finished products meet the customers’ standards and requirements.

3    To ensure compliance of HACCP, GMP & ISO requirements to meet the quality expectations of customers.

4    To continuously review & monitor the operating processes and results in order to find continuous improvements in procedures, methods, effectiveness & resource utilization.

5    To ensure production yield & productivity (efficiency) are within set targets with minimum production costs and timely corrective actions are taken as & when necessary.

6    To ensure product quality through on-the-job training, guidance & good housekeeping.

7    To provide timely and accurate product analysis report as requested by management.

8    Responsible to troubleshoot and resolve problems relating to products functionality arising from production.

9    To lead & motivate subordinates to enable them to work together effectively & productively.
 

 

Qualifications

•    Degree in Food Science / Food Technology


Experience: 
•    Minimum 5 years working experience, including in R & D
