Job Description
Start date: as soon as possible
Duration: minimum 12 months, maximum 24 months
Location: Düsseldorf (Germany),
Working hours: 20 h/week, up to 37,5h/week during lecture free period possible
Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Cleansing working-student to support our data cleansing team. This role focuses on reviewing, cleaning, and maintaining datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability. We are looking for interested in data analytics, data quality, and business intelligence.
Your Key Responsibilites:
- Data Review: Review, clean, and maintain datasets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Error Detection: Identify errors, inconsistencies, and duplicates in legacy SAP systems.
- Validation: Validate data accuracy against source documents and systems based on defined rules.
- Standards: Assist in developing and implementing data quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work with team members to improve data quality and business alignment.
- Migration: Support data migration and monitor progress to meet cleansing milestones.
Qualifications
Your Qualifications:
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics or a related field, being registered as a student for at least another 12 months (ideally 24 months) and having the necessary work authorization as a student.
- Detail Orientation: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills and basic understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
- Data Tools: Good Knowledge of data handling using tools like Excel and SQL and experience with Project Management Tools & Data Tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, JIRA, Confluence).
- Learning: Willingness to learn project tools to support Data Cleansing (SAP BODS).
- Independence: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Communication: Good communication skills and proactive mindset.
