Job Description

At Metro Türkiye, we are looking for a Digital Channel Communication Executive who is passionate about data-driven marketing, skilled in campaign automation and confident in managing multi-channel communications. You will take end-to-end ownership of email, SMS, and push notification campaigns while working closely with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on technical execution.

  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel CRM campaigns through AJO, D-Engage and other tools
  • Create customer journeys and automated flows based on RFM segmentation, behavioral insights and customer lifecycle
  • Use SQL queries to extract dynamic fields and prepare targeted customer lists using platforms like BigQuery
  • Manage local legal compliance processes, including Turkey’s İYS (Message Management System) for communication permissions
  • Oversee technical integrations and data management
  • Collaborate with legal, IT, agencies and other internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
  • Run A/B tests, analyze results and share data-driven insights for continuous improvement
  • Ensure all campaigns are aligned with business goals and brand tone

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in CRM, data-driven marketing and developing&implementing digital campaign strategies
  • Proficiency in SQL, especially for dynamic campaign structures
  • Perfect knowledge of CDP (Customer Driven Marketing Platforms) serving tools
  • Strong knowledge of customer segmentation, journey planning and campaign automation
  • Familiarity with legal compliance and permission management in the Turkish market
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional projects and communicate with technical teams
  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Experience working in a retail company is a significant plus
  • No military obligation for male canditates (completed or exempt)

METRO's Head Office follows a hybrid working model! We work remotely on Fridays, giving you the flexibility to work from anywhere. Plus, each year, you can choose two additional weeks to work remotely on your own terms!
