METRO opened its first cash & carry wholesale center in Pakistan in 2007 & expanded to 5 wholesale centers in a short span of 18 months. In July 2012 METRO and Makro-Habib combined their wholesale business in Pakistan marking the beginning of a long-term partnership to the mutual benefit of both companies. The merger allowed METRO and Makro-Habib to combine resources and gain the financial strength to lead and grow in a challenging environment and to gain synergies targeted to generate value for our customers and suppliers alike. Today the company is operating 10 wholesale centers in Lahore, Karachi, Multan Islamabad & Faisalabad.

• Provide support, training, guidance and manage METRO applications.
• Create and manage reports/dashboards in BI (MicroStrategy, Qlickview).
• Implement and coordinate international projects.
• Analyse country’s new requirements into existing application and coordinate with METRO system for possible implementation.
• Lead technical implementations in collaboration with international colleagues & internal stakeholders.
• Monthly and yearly closing of different applications.
• Development of new reports/custom objects in MicroStrategy.
• Ensure data protection and data quality checks and accuracy of data provided to METRO users.
• Take initiatives on improvement of processes.

• University degree - Master of Science / BSc in IT

• Experience: 2-4 Years of relevant experience.
• Strong Knowledge of SQL, PLSQL and MS SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Databases (Oracle, Teradata, DANA/GCP).
• Microstrategy and BI applications.
• ERP – SAP Financials/Invoices and Admin modules knowledge.
• BI developments (Metadata, Reports & Dashboards).
