Job Description

He/She will be responsible for expanding our power-related activities in the West Balkan and will work closely with the local and regional teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities.

Essential responsibilities

  • Identifying power wholesale opportunities in the West Balkan region.
  • Originating and executing power transactions in the wholesale market, making pricing strategies & forecasts, handle internal reporting as well as relationships with clients & other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage risk exposure, including credit and market risk.
  • Generate renewable energy projects and opportunities.
  • Develop systems, reports, and models to facilitate decision-making.
  • Support company’s expansion strategy and market set-up.
  • Ensure stable, safe, legal, and regulatory compliance of all operations.

Qualifications

  • Master degree in business, economics or engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in power origination and wholesale operations within Serbia and/or the West Balkan region.
  • Expertise in managing wholesale electricity market operations and deal origination, with a deep understanding of power market fundamentals and product structuring.
  • Fluent in both Serbian and English.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications; familiarity with software such as ENDUR and Power BI is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) is a plus.
  • Experience with renewable energy projects (wind, solar) and flex assets is a plus.
