Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Controller ready to grow in a fast-paced organization. The purpose of this role is to perform financial, business controlling tasks, provide professional support in the process of closing reporting periods as well as financial and business planning. Implementing improvements, automation in internal controlling processes will be an important part of this position. You will have a unique opportunity to shape your area in a dynamic start-up environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Modeling of financial projections of business lines

• Preparation of periodic reports and financial plans

• Ad-hoc reports for the board of directors as well as financial controlling of the group

• Cooperation with group treasury, preparation of cash-flow projections

• Ongoing cooperation with the accounting, sales and operations departments

• Involvement during financial and internal audits

• Control over sales network settlements, margin distribution, payment tranches and final settlements

• Preparation of information/supporting data for financial statements for the periods indicated (biweekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)

• Automation and optimization of analytical and reporting processes

Qualifications

• Higher education in the field (finance, mathematics, economics)

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience, experience in accounting, auditing or controlling welcome

• Fluency in Polish and English

• Proficiency in MS Office (including highly developed proficiency in Excel)

• Knowledge of Power BI and other automation tools will be an important asset

• Ability to work on large data sets

• Ability to draw conclusions and recommend solutions

• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and set priorities

• Practical attitude with strong ability to deal with pressure

• Ability to meet deadlines and priorities

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships

• High level of attention to detail, accuracy

• Ability to self-organize work, agility and operational ingenuity

• Ability to effectively formulate new ideas in your area of responsibility

• Experience in the energy industry will be an advantage
