Job Description

  • Managing daily validation of energy trades within the ETRM system, ensuring all deals are validated within a specified timeframe
  • Ensuring all deals follow the agreed deal booking policies whilst monitoring the different deal statuses to maintain accurate records in the ETRM system
  • Communicate with stakeholders to clarify deal validation findings and address inquiries
  • Assist in resolving trade-related discrepancies in coordination with various teams
  • Supporting complex business flows – LNG, storage, cross-border capacity
  • Deliver daily MO reports, including internal data reconciliations
  • Active participation in monthly closing processes – reconciliation between trading system and accounting
  • Work closely with BO, FO, Finance & Treasury teams
  • Collaborate with IT teams to address system-related issues and contribute to system enhancements
  • Ad-hoc building of new reports and monitoring tools

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Middle Office, Trade Validation, or Risk Control within energy trading
  • Proficiency in ETRM systems (Endur, Allegro, OpenLink), Excel (VBA, Pivot Tables, Macros), and familiarity with SQL/Python is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of deal booking, trade validation, reconciliation, and risk management. Experience with LNG, gas storage, and cross-border capacity advantageous
  • Experience working closely with Front Office, Back Office, Finance, Treasury, and IT teams
  • Strong analytical skills, stakeholder communication, and ability to resolve trade discrepancies
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
