Job Description
Ukraine is a strategic market for MET Group as it represents a market with a significant natural gas demand and domestic production with connection to EU gas markets. Therefore establishment of MET Ukraine is highly important for MET Group as it will add significant value on the entire group level. Furthermore we are strongly convinced that MET Ukraine would significantly add to the security of supply and development of the Ukrainian natural gas market.
Purpose of the job
Will be responsible for implementation and monitoring MET Ukraine’s power operations. The position will work to foster standardization and consistency across MET Group processes and internal controls.
Essential responsibilities
- Conduct power portfolio crossborder transactions
- Conducting necessary entries (bilateral agreement nominations, daily/intra day purchasing nominations) on MMS/XMtrade / PXS Screens
- Preparation of Power Invoices
- Managing post-sales processes, such as management of contract conditions & durations and collateral tracking
- Preparation of Power portfolio financial exposure reports
- Preparation and tracking of payments
- Controlling and tracking daily balancing entries/exits on EAP/MMS Screen
- Controlling monthly Power settlement process
- Tracking Power collaterals, bank garantees.
- Management and reporting of customer demand and complaints in customer support process
- Preparation of NERC and Guaranteed Buyer (export) Power Reports
Qualifications
- MSc in industrial Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Econometrics, Statistics
- 2-3 years' experience in power operations
- Experience in EAP, XMtrade / PXS for at least 1,5 years is a must
- Must be fluent in both Ukrainian and English.
- Knowledge of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and EFET is a plus.
- Confident individual able to interact with senior employees
- Solid decision-making and time management
