MET International AG (METI) was established in 2010 in order to consolidate and develop MET Group’s international natural gas sales and purchase portfolio, as well as to establish a trading arm for commodity lines. 

METI is responsible for providing highly competitive supply structures to its gas and power sales affiliates, optimizing its power generation assets, managing the LNG portfolio, and trading around international positions.

Job Description

As we move into a new phase of continued development and growth, METI is currently seeking a high-caliber HR talent to join their team in Zug. Your role will ensure the success and impact of HR operations and strategic initiatives.

  • HR business partner to CEO and the METI management
  • Active collaboration with Group HR 
  • Manage the performance management lifecycle
  • Monitor and actively manage employee and management satisfaction
  • Design, implement, and manage the employee retention strategy
  • Manage and improve HR strategies and policies
  • Manage the Swiss HR Payroll process, salary surveys and bonus calculations 
  • Support the business planning process from an HR perspective
  • Manage external partners (payroll provider, remuneration consultancy firms, pension provider, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Degree in Human Resources and/or Business Administration, additional further professional HR qualification preferred
  • Commodity Trading experience highly preferred
  • Results-driven, problem-solving personality with strong planning and prioritization skills
  • Refined organizational and project management skills, a proven creative/innovative solution-oriented approach
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills as well as a working style built on developing relationships 
  • Strong HR Generalist experience as the Lead HR Partner including hands-on HR operational support and working knowledge of all specialist HR functions
  • Work experience in Switzerland required, strong understanding of Swiss Labor Law, Social Security, Tax and Swiss Pension System 
  • Accustomed to working in fast paced, complex, multicultural environments
  • Cooperative team player with an adaptable and flexible attitude
  • Advanced English and German skills
