Job Description

The Energy Efficiency Solutions Manager ('EES Manager') will be responsible of designing and proposing MET Energia Italia strategy over energy efficiency solutions to be deployed to customers, both in the Large Corporate and in the SME/Households landscapes. Furthermore, the EES Manager will be fully responsible of executing the agreed strategy, in full alignment with LC and SME Sales departments and with a view to provide a contribution to MET Italy P&L already in 2022.

In particular, the EES Manager main responsibilities will be:      

- To draft the EES Strategy of MET Energia Italia for the period 2022-2026 and propose it to the company CEO and Heads of Function. The strategy will have to identify which EES can be implemented vis-à-vis each specific customer cluster, which sales channels will be utilised and which technology partners will be sought. Finally, the strategy will have to set the short and long term P&L contribution targets for MET Energia Italia.

- To execute the agreed strategy by selecting the best technology partners and by building the sales network, leveraging on SME Sales’ established sales network.

- To support LC Sales and SME Sales activities by providing tailor made EES solutions to customers, with the purpose to extend the life of the contracts and generate additional P&L contribution.

- To maintain and develop MET Energia Italia knowledge about the energy efficiency and environmental regulation and market dynamics (White Certificates, GOs, EUA and other carbon offsetting certificates), as well as to the prevailing or potential technologies / solutions that might be implemented in the future.

Qualifications

- Degree in Energy or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent);

- At least 5 year experience in the energy sector, being involved in the analysis and deployment of energy efficiency solutions, in the management of regulatory and approval processes and in providing various energy efficiency services to counterparties (eg White Certificates management, power interruptibility services, energy audit etc);

- Young, dynamic, entrepreneurial and passionate about EES solutions and environmental matters.

- Will be required to be autonomous, reliable, open minded and ready to take on new challenges and responsibilities. Self-motivation and focus on performance will be the key elements in the selection process.

- Fluency in English is a pre-requisite.
