Job Description

  • Provide IT technical support services to Customer’s end users to resolve IT issues that might occur from its PC desktop, Notebook, Corporate Mobile devices, printing devices, other peripherals or devices used by Customer’s end users at work
  • Install and / or remove hardware and software at the locations designated by Customer. 
  • Move hardware from one location to another location as required by Customer, perform local Software installation or re-installation.
  • Preparations to remove Hardware from local site to scrapping service.
  • Detect and replace defective components of hardware.
  • Coordinate and proactive manage escalation to manufacturer or supplier for warranty or maintenance support services.
  • Manage escalation and perform tracking of support including reverting the IT issues to Customer’s ESS promptly if such IT issues cannot be resolved on site and may require the involvement of Customer's application owner and / or manufacturer.
  • Responses to all clients related consultation and enquiry for Customer’s end users including but not limited to providing coaching to Customer’s end users in utilizing standard and nonstandard client hardware, software and IT peripherals.
  • Priority / VIP Call Service – experienced service engineer to attend any service request call from priority Client member such as Director, Senior Director, Vice President, President and etc.
  • Provide IT asset inventory check & update frequently. 
  • Distribute promptly the issues beyond the scope of technical capabilities to the field to support the technical staff, and fully responsible in tracking escalation and problem-solving process from end to end basis towards final resolution.
     

Qualifications

  • Certificate/Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science/ Information System.
  • 1 years working experience in support factory production environment 
  • Good knowledge in basic configuration about TCP/IP networking (LAN/WAN) 
  • Possess good hardware and software assembly, upgrades, repairs, troubleshooting and resolution skills. 
  • Able to troubleshoot PCs and laptops that runs under various version of Windows OS 
  • Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be team player.
  • Required language(s): English, Chinese, Bahasa Malay

Additional Information

Salary Range:

  • Starting range RM2,400 to RM3,000
