Job Description

The Desktop Technician will provide support for PC, Mac, Smart Devices, Peripherals and maintenance of service events within the organization’s desktop computing environment.  This is a Hybrid full time role requiring 1-2 days in the office/week.  This role:

  • Receives escalated tickets to support and maintain Microsoft, Apple, Mobile/Smart Devices, and peripherals within the organization’s desktop computing environment. 
  • Installs, diagnose, repair, maintain and upgrade all PC/Mac hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance. 
  • Troubleshoots problem areas (in person, by phone or via email) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user assistance where required. 
  • Provides high quality support to each end user by assisting them with managing and resolving IT related support needs, to minimize delays related to technical issues across the organization 
  • Manages confidential and proprietary company information 
  • Local travel required (Northeast OH)

Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in a Support Role in a Microsoft Environment
  • Cisco Phone Support is required (Call Manager, Finesse, Account Provisioning, Direct Inward Dial)
  • Active Directory and Outlook experience required
  • Webex/Jabber experience is a plus
  • Prior experience supporting financial software is preferred
  • Office 365 Troubleshooting Experience preferred
