Job Description

The Engagement Consultant is responsible for interacting with the various MCPc/Fortress Business Units, Sales Personnel, Consulting Delivery and Operations for all MCPc engagements.  This interaction includes all opportunities that MCPc engages. Maintains and enforces stated guidelines.

  • Interact with respective business units to analyze opportunities, help guide each business opportunity by ensuring Value-Added offerings are proposed, along with standard BANT guidelines within CRM
  • Document the information regarding every Initial Opportunity within CRM and ensure the quality of opportunities
  • Serve as a liaison from opportunity owners to Consulting Delivery to Operations
  • Oversee the Client Engagement Process and improve upon current business processes to help increase efficiency and provide faster responses to our clients.
  • Maintains consistent and clear lines of communication with the owner of each opportunity
  • Work with the respective opportunity owner, or direct supervisor to help improve gathered findings to help lead to improved opportunities
  • Promotes MCPc to “modern” business standards across all opportunities that MCPc is capable of delivering
  • Designated as the direct approver for all Initial Opportunities
  • Designated Subject Matter Expert, as well as approver for all Hardware opportunities
    • Review and approve Hardware quotes; and Statement of Work (SOW) are noted appropriately as part of the quoting process
    • Coordinate and track all Hardware opportunities and ensure that these also include other MCPc service lines
  • Attend as assigned to Scoping/Whiteboard opportunities as designated by supervisor
  • Validate Data within Microsoft Partner Center aligns to associated opportunities
  • Track metrics within Partner Center (i.e. incentives, program funding, training allotment and etc.)
  • Validate and submit weekly reports from ConnectWise
  • Learn and become the back up to Client Support for Licensing
  • Learn/Manage Licensing programs offered

 

Qualifications

  • Experience with Business Analysis, quoting, and triaging related to Hardware and other MCPc Service lines
  • Microsoft Office proficient; especially in Excel (pivot tables, etc.)
  • Previous experience working on a project team with exposure to cross-functional interactions.
  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and orally
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field preferred or Business and Communications
