We are a local non-profit organization located in the historic “Flats area of Cleveland”. Job Description

Under the general direction of the Executive Director and the Director of Business Affairs, the HR Generalist here at the Foundry assesses and anticipates all the human resource-related needs of the immediate facility. There will be some matrixed reporting and guidance to HR Manager on the for the for-profit side of the organization for consistency of business practices. The job duties include: 

  • Leading the total talent acquisition cycle
  • Enforce and develop policies, create programs and solutions to both day-to-day as well as long term problems
  • Find ways to build facility morale, improve workplace relationships, and boost productivity and retention
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of human resources experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Pro-active individual who is recognized as self-directed and motivated with a positive attitude
