Job Description

Position Overview

The person will support the organization by providing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) administration across multiple organizations.  The primary responsibilities of this position will be patch management, client imaging, inventory/reporting, and application deployments through MECM. The candidate will also be required to deploy and implement enhancements that will improve the reliability, maintainability, and performance of the MECM systems.

Responsibilities

·  Maintain client images and task sequences

·  Deploy software, patches, and updates using MECM

·  Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures

·  Monitor patch releases and develop patch installation strategies for servers and clients

·  Perform general administration duties in Active Directory environment

·  Provide a point of escalation and support to the Help Desk and IT teams

·  Works side by side with other system administrators and IT teams

·  Support user questions, problems, and needs with prompt and courteous attention

·  MDT integrations with MECM and utilizing to improve imaging processes

·  Patching of Devices – SCCM Admin

·  Occasional off-hours support is required

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

·  Knowledgeable on Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office

·  Proficient with MECM patch management, inventory management, operating system deployment

·  Experience with scripting languages to automate tasks (i.e. PowerShell, VBScript, Batch Files)

·  Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently or as part of a team

·  Ability to manage assigned tasks and clearly communicate status information

·  Good interpersonal skills: gets along well with others

·  Good customer service skills, including end-user support experience

·  Good written and oral communication skills

·  Associates degree and 3-5 years’ experience is preferred
