Job Description

Ensures all equipment in facility is processed and placed in its required location which includes recycling, testing, data erasure, cleaning & prepping and packing & shipping of electronic equipment.

  • Uses electronic scanning equipment to log equipment into inventory system.
  • Test and Audit the inventory/product received from the clients
  • Processes, sorts, and deconstructs equipment, which includes the manual disassembly of electronic equipment and putting those components in a specified container.
  • Operates a pallet jack including building and maneuvering equipment on pallets.
  • Maintains the physical security protocols we have in place
  • Maintains the operating condition of work station tools and machinery used to execute primary functions.
  • Assists the activities of the warehouse staff to ensure a positive and efficient work experience.
  • Maintains the cleanliness and overall appearance of work stations.
  • Attends and participates in monthly operations meetings.

Experience and Educational Requirement 

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements :

Occasional sitting, focusing on and operating a computer several times a day. Daily sitting, focusing on and operating a personal computer or terminal keyboard to enter data for over 60 minutes at a time.  Ability to read printed words and numbers in printed form and on computer/terminal monitor. Daily lifting up to 25 lbs. up to 5 minutes at a time. Constant standing, walking, stooping.  Constant reaching, handling products.

Warehouse environment; exposure to heat and cold (equivalent to outside temperatures); dust, pollen, fumes (as in normal outside environment); noise.

Regular attendance and punctuality are an essential job function of this position.  In addition, the duties of this job need to be performed inside of our offices (unless authorized due to extraordinary circumstances by your manager and Human Resources) for the purpose of interaction and collaboration with colleagues and/or clients as necessary, the ability to adequately supervise the associate, and/or the availability of necessary equipment utilized for regular job functions.  MCPc allows four pre-approved work at home days annually.
