Job Description
The Talent Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the talent functions of the organization. This role involves recruitment efforts, maintaining onboarding processes, employee development, and various administrative tasks to ensure the effective scheduling and management of the organization's workforce.
- Recruitment & Talent Support:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to track candidate progress.
- Assist in creating and maintaining job descriptions.
- Responsible for managing the schedule of field technicians
- Talent Analytics:
- Collect, analyze, and manage data related to talent and proactively suggest improvement opportunities based on the data
- Responsible for tracking KPI’s and Metrics for Talent
- Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, including paperwork, drug screening and background checks.
- Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition and compliance with exit procedures.
- Compliance and Policies:
- Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
- Update and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.
- Assist with weekly time approvals for Field employees
- Responsible training new Field Resources on time entry, best practices, and tracking realization.
- Employee Engagement and Development:
- Work with other MCPC leaders, assist with early talent career pathing and success
- Support employee development programs, training, and performance reviews.
- Employee Relations:
- Address basic employee inquiries and provide guidance
- Escalate more complex issues to HR management when necessary.
- Employee Records and Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, contracts, and performance evaluations.
- Generate reports and metrics related to talent management and HR activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
