We are currently hiring Manufacturing Trainer (Bilingual). When training, onboarding or translating is not needed, this employee will complete assembly related tasks in a manufacturing environment.

MAT Industries, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of air compressors in the Jackson community located at 213 Industrial Dr., Jackson, TN 38301.

Our ten-hour shift offers 3 paid breaks along with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Trainer who is bilingual in Spanish to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control and be able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.  

The Manufacturing Trainer will foster a positive learning environment that encourages employee engagement and continuous improvement. When training is not needed, this employee will complete assembly related tasks in a manufacturing environment.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency to complete production schedule on time.
• Accepts personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work.
• Accurately and timely completes all required reporting functions.
• Clean and assemble equipment while following safety procedures and practices and maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

• Bilingual (Spanish & English) Required
• Ability to effectively communicate processes, both formal & informal, in a way that new hires can comprehend.
• An open communication style creates a setting where employees are comfortable asking questions.
• Relevant production experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to understand and follow simple assembly instructions.
• Ability to cross-train jobs and rotate as needed,
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, and kneel without assistance.
• Ability to independently lift up to 30 lbs. and/or team lift material over 30 lbs.
• Must be a team player.
