Job Description

Job Summary:

As a SAP Master Data Specialist at MAT Holdings Inc., you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the integrity of our master data within the SAP system. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across the organization. You will collaborate with various departments to gather data requirements, implement data governance policies, and support data quality initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of SAP functionalities, and the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our data management strategy while driving improvements in operational efficiency and decision-making.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Generate and analyze daily and weekly master data KPIs.
  • Execute master data timely in SAP, including end-to-end processes
  • Cross-functional partnership to gather requirements and ensure data alignment
  • Understand and identify data dependencies in support of master data object creation and change processes
  • Conduct data validation, regular audits, and implement data quality checks
  • Drive key performance metrics for the health of the SAP master data
  • Utilize the management system to meet established goals and objectives and drive continual improvement projects.
  • Develop documentation and other training materials
  • Maintain change management creation and change workflow owners and task configurations for assigned locations/profit centers
  • Supports troubleshooting of process and technical issues to support timely fixes by working with business owners, IT, and data stewards
  • Support the technology, tools, resources, and processes required to create/maintain consistent and accurate master data throughout the global organization
  • Perform other duties as assigned, within a reasonable scope of the role.

Qualifications

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment, heat and cold.
  • Ability to use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to hear sounds and differentiate between them.
  • Ability to visually understand distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and color vision.

Must be willing to be on-site in our manufacturing facilities located in Jackson, TN.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing industry with direct data management experience with material numbers, bill of materials, and routings in an ERP system
  • Proficiency in the use of SAP S/4 Hana and related tools
  • Strong Knowledge and experience of data governance and data quality principles
  • Strong analytical skills to understand how pieces of data relate to each other and thus to detect and thereby prevent inappropriate transactions and data entry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Expertise with MS Office applications
