We are currently hiring an Outbound Warehouse Lead, 2nd shift at our Romeoville, IL distribution center. The pay rate is $22.75 /hour plus $2.00 shift diff. The hours for 2nd shift are 2:30pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday with opportunities for overtime.

Lead a department of 10-15 in daily communication meetings and issuing each team member their daily work load. Train, motivate and lead the department to meet all daily production and safety goals, while taking direction from shift supervisor. Shift

• 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm plus overtime as scheduled
• $22.75/hr.+ $2.00 shift Premium

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce Safety and Company policies
• Train and assist, order pickers, checkers and loaders as required
• Assist in development of department performance and productivity standards
• Hands on as needed based on workload and manpower
• Maintain and update start, hourly and end of shift reports 
• Attend all department and company meetings as required
• Assist shipping supervisor in directing workflow
• Provide input for employee evaluations
• Complete and/or coordinate department projects as assigned
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned

• Experience leading others 
• Strong written and verbal skill
• Ability to communicate in English
• Ability to be able to make judgement call and good decisions 
• Ability to use RF Scanners/Systems proficiently 
• Experience using computers and associated software programs including Microsoft Office
• Experience operating a forklift (Order Picker, Sit-down or Walkie-Rider)
• Ability to understand the basic throughput of a Logistics Operation
• Shipping and/or Receiving experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience in Warehousing
