Job Description

The role of the Supervisor - Treasury & Risk will be responsible for the day‐to‐day treasury and insurance related functions for MAT Holdings, Inc. (the Company) and will lead a team of 2 analysts.  This role will also be responsible for aligning strategies to achieving the overall Company objectives.

On the Treasury side, responsibilities include, but not limited to, facilitating bank activities, cash management, supply chain financing, foreign exchange management, treasury reporting, and leading other treasury projects and initiatives.

On the Risk side, the applicant will lead the identification, communication, measurement and management of company-wide risk.  This includes activities related to the annual insurance renewal, risk management initiatives, premium audit and allocations & claims handling. This role reports to the Director of Treasury & Risk Management and works closely with Finance, Accounting, Legal and Operations to ensure all of the Company’s goals are met in an efficient and comprehensive way.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Facilitates bank activities (e.g. release of funds & template maintenance) and general account maintenance such as opening and closing accounts, updating authorized signers, KYC requests, etc.
  • Coordinates & maintains borrowing and leasing arrangements with banks, including ensuring adherence to debt compliance requirements.
  • Cash forecasting (e.g. borrowing notices) and treasury reporting activities (e.g. cost of borrowing) on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Maintains log of intercompany loans & transfers.
  • Supports quarterly and annual bank reporting & financial audit preparation.
  • Identifies, assess and mitigates financial risk with a particular emphasis on global foreign exchange exposure.
  • Coordinates with international finance peers to provide local financing needs as required

Risk

  • Maintains and develops relationships with insurance partners including brokers, underwriters and other risk management service providers
  • Supports the annual renewal of the corporate insurance programs by compiling underwriting information. 
  • Provides regular status updates to stakeholders and allocate premiums across all subsidiary companies.
  • Conducts policy audits.
  • Collects, investigates, tracks progress, and maintains data for all liability and property claims as well as monitors deductible invoice amounts paid to carriers.
  • Assists with loss control planning and facilitate completion of recommendations.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a similar field of study
  • 5+ years of Treasury or Finance related experience required
