Job Description

This role will be responsible for receiving customer orders and forecasts, and loading them into the SAP system. This position will manage the ordering and issuing of PO’s for materials needed to produce the customers’ orders. This position will coordinate all the Supply Chain activities to ensure that the goods are shipped on time to meet the customer demand. The Supply Chain coordinator will be in constant communication with customers and Supply Chain team located in Denmark.
 

Principle Responsibilities

  • Update and maintain SAP for production orders.
  • Work with MAT HD warehouse personnel on receiving and inventory.
  • Handle customer orders and forecasts in SAP – standard orders, and via EDI.
  • Day-to-day communication with customers and forwarders (booking etc.).
  • Handling and planning of shipments, including creation of shipping documents.
  • Material planning, shipping planning.
  • Creation of purchase orders in SAP of materials from the Meneta Group.
  • Purchasing packaging materials.
  • Inventory management.
  • E&O management.
  • Handling of return goods, including creation of credit notes related to claims in cooperation with the Quality Department.
  • Day-to-day communication and planning with the Sales Department and Supply Chain Team located in Denmark.
  • Assists with special projects as required.
  • Manage subcontractors (Slitter…).

Qualifications

  • BA/BS Preferred.
  • Requires a minimum of 5+ years in an operations environment.
  • Solid computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to details.
  • Strong coordination skills.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Willingness to work as a team.
  • Excellent communication skills up/down the organization.  Strong planning, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Experience with logistics and supply chain management a plus.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Willingness to adapt in a dynamic work environment.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
