Job Description

Spend your summer gaining hands-on experience in your chosen field of study at our corporate headquarters in Long Grove, IL. As an Intern within our Finance and Accounting group, you will be partnered with department leaders as you complete meaningful projects and contribute to corporate initiatives. You will also participate in the activities that support the financial well-being of our organization. Our team is ready to help you learn and grow!

Upon successful completion of the Finance/Accounting Internship, highly qualified interns may be offered full-time positions within the Finance/Accounting Department.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Assist department with month-end reporting; account reconciliations and other accounting functions.
  • Gain knowledge of financial statements, trial balance accounts, and account structure.
  • Assist in accounting projects for process improvement and standardization.
  • Additional duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Competencies

  • Motivated to learn new skills and actively participate in projects.
  • Strong communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Detailed-oriented and process-driven with a knack for solving problems.

Education/Experience

  • Freshman to Seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
