Job Description

Program management from a supply chain perspective: Coordinate production planning teams, purchasing and inventory control teams, vendor selection, distribution, and SAP master data loading and maintenance. Monitors supply chain performance (movement of completed goods for on-time order fulfillment, on-time production, and special customer projects) to anticipate/correct issues. Maintains contact and collaboration with vendors, forecasting team, customers, distribution centers, and internal buyers to ensure a continuous supply of goods. Implements and coordinates changes when necessary to improve efficiency and overall performance.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Utilize the Forecasting Team’s insight and SAP load data to monitor and report anticipated results to meet specific customer requirements and special projects.
  • Propose and implement solutions where customer delivery expectations are not on track.
  • Provide direct guidance to factories to prioritize production and assure advance planning
  • Coordinate customer special requirements through communication with the customer, factories, distribution centers, and supply chain teams.
  • Manage inbound and outbound activities through coordination with company distribution centers.
  • Manage factory orders through MRP and purchasing.
  • Implement ERP system enhancements through collaboration with IT functions

  • Understanding the Traditional Independent Aftermarket, Buying groups, and Retail players.
  • Positive Attitude
  • SAP experience a plus

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience.
  • Program management experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced global supply chain position
  • Utilized advanced Excel skills to construct complex spreadsheets to obtain clear and concise results.
  • Import compliance experience a plus.
  • Winshuttle/Studio or similar experience a plus.

Additional Information

There is no relocation available for this position.  Highly prefer a local candidate.
