Job Description

Warehouse Order Picker $17.00 per hour

Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm

$800 Sign-on Bonus!

This position is responsible for the picking, packing, staging goods for outbound shipment within our warehouse.  In this role, you will be certified to operate material handling equipment and RF mobile devices to facilitate the movement of good out of our distribution center.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Daily inspection of Material Handling Equipment.
  • Performs outbound order picking function adhering to preferred methods.
  • Inspects products for damage prior to picking to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Picks customer orders via RF Scanner onto a pallet for shipment.
  • Performs general housekeeping in warehouse.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

An Order Picker will be considered for promotional opportunities by demonstrating a strong work ethic, being at work and on time while remaining productive throughout their day.  The next step for an Order Picker would include cross training in another function within Inbound or Outbound, additional RF mobile device training as well as certification on additional material handling equipment (Sit Down, Reach Truck, Walkie Rider, Etc)

Education/Experience:

  • Ideal candidate would have 6-12 months MAT Logistics experience.
  • External candidates, minimum 1 year RF and Warehouse experience.
  • Order Picker requires Material Handling Equipment Certification, prior experience preferred.
