Job Description

MAT Holdings, Inc. seeks an E-commerce Manager who will be responsible for developing the strategic on-line marketing plan and execute the tactical on-line marketing activities for MATI and MIND divisions.  MATI’s product lines are Fencing, Lawn & Garden and Pet Containment, and MIND’s are compressors, air tools and outdoor power equipment.  This is a full-time, permanent position in Long Grove, Illinois.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Act as the overall e-commerce business owner for assigned brands, possessing a complete understanding of internal/external variables that impact the business.
  • Lead and manage e-commerce-related projects, working closely with MATI and MIND ecommerce and sales teams.
  • Oversee the interaction with 3rd party (customers) e-commerce websites to optimize the consumer experience and support growth in sales revenue.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of 3rd party and company-owned websites.
  • Responsible for search engine optimization for all internal and external platforms.
  • Collaborate with product managers to launch new products to various e-commerce platforms and monitor performance.
  • Utilize tools such as webscraper to monitor and maintain e-commerce product availability and price competitiveness as well as promote buy box wins.
  • Propose and execute on-line advertising activities and monitor performance.
  • Propose and execute on-line promotions and monitor performance.
  • Responsible for voice of customer (VOC) analysis and maintaining customer review ratings on all platforms.
  • Maintain company presence on various social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
  • Motivate and manage external brand/retail specialists.
  • Other duties as assigned by the VP/Director of Marketing.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in roles such as e-commerce specialist, project/program manager, sales/marketing analyst.
  • 3+ years of experience managing various retailer e-commerce platforms.
  •  Bachelor’s degree.
  • Microsoft Excel data analysis and summary expertise.
  • Microsoft Office expertise.
  • Analytical skills including Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Excel.
  • Willingness to travel on business (Less than 20%).
