Job Description

Job Summary

The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through delivery. This position will be responsible for managing inventory and orders for vendor Managed inventory customers partners. The primary focus is providing forecasting and replenishment order accuracy, managing orders and problem resolution.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders.
  • Responsible for accuracy of Direct Import Documentation from vendors.
  • Create Shipping Notifications.
  • Update and maintain SAP accuracy for incoming orders.
  • Works with MAT AP and AR Personnel, with received orders.
  • Responsible for updating and distributing Freight Priority List to Vendors.
  • Responsible for updating and distributing Open Order Reports weekly basis to Vendors and MAT Personnel.
  • Working with MAT Warehouse Personnel on Receiving and Inventory.
  • Analyzes Customer Demand and Sales Forecasts to Ensure Accurate and Timely Ordering of Finished Goods and Service Parts.
  • Maintain Service Part replenishment and purchases.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities.

 

Experience

  • Ability to meet attendance standards. All full-time employees are required to work at least 40-hrs week. At times it may be necessary to work additional hours in order to get the required tasks accomplished to meet deadlines.

  • Must be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

 

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for written work and PC use. The noise level is usually fairly quiet.
  • Maintain confidentiality of certain information.

 

Education

  • BA/BS preferred, HS diploma required
